Farm Fresh Pet Foods was born out a brainstorming session by two Saskatchewan ranch families - the Fox's and the Foley's.

As beef producers they were amazed at what was being used in dog food when they knew the quality of what was available. The decision was to develop a dog food that used the highest quality ingredients blended into a final product that would be second to none. The ingredients that were selected are common and safe.

Both families understood that they were not dog nutrition experts and needed to find help to achieve their goal.   A professional animal nutritionist, product design personnel, scientific testing labs, and inspected production facilities were all employed to formulate, prepare and package the product. The result is a product that is naturally complete, meets strict quality control guidelines, and uses industry leading packaging.

The beef is from hormone and pesticide free animals. Each animal must be inspected and deemed fit for human consumption. The animal has had the SRM's removed so that they do not get used in the product. SRM's stands for "specified risk material" which are the parts of the animal that have a higher risk of containing the prions that cause BSE.

The Fox and Foley Families are confident that Farm Fresh Dog Food is the best alternative to feeding dogs that is available.
